Core Aeration in Waterloo, Ontario
We book core aeration each spring as a single service, from $275 plus HST by lawn size. Waterloo lawns tend to fail in one of two opposite ways depending on the street. The newer west-end builds, Laurelwood, Conservation Meadows and Columbia Forest, sit on a thin layer of soil and rolled sod over subsoil the building equipment packed down for months, so rain sheets off instead of soaking in, that’s what our own crews see on the job. The older, mature-canopy streets, Beechwood, Westvale and Lincoln Heights, have forty-plus years of mower and foot traffic pressing the ground tighter under a big maple’s shade. Both need the same fix: real cores pulled out of the lawn so air, water and roots can get past the packed layer.
What’s included
A walk of the property, cores across the whole mowable lawn, and honest advice on what your lawn actually needs. Full detail on core aeration, including why we’re upfront that fall is turf science’s stronger window even though we sell this service in spring.

Waterloo FAQ
My Laurelwood lawn is only a few years old. Does it really need aeration already? Often, yes. A newer lot’s packed subsoil doesn’t fix itself with time, and it’s usually the newest lawns on the west end that dry out first in a hot July.
Is a sloped Westvale or Laurelwood back lawn worth aerating? It’s often the one that needs it most. A slope on compacted ground sheds water fastest, so the holes do more work there than on flat ground.
Serving Kitchener too
We aerate lawns across Kitchener and Waterloo, with Mannheim at the edge. Full service detail on core aeration, and Kitchener’s own notes on aeration in Kitchener. Full boundary on the service area page. Pairs well with overseeding in Waterloo.
