My Doon South sod was perfect and now it’s thin. Why? Almost always compaction under a shallow layer of topsoil. Feeding a lawn that can’t get air and water to its roots does very little on its own. Core aeration first, then feed.
Does the Region’s watering rule affect my lawn care? Yes, indirectly. Watering is limited to once a week on an address-based day through the summer, so a fed, aerated lawn that holds moisture better matters more here than in a place without that limit.
