What’s in each tier

Every tier, every visit, includes the full driveway, the front path to your door, the city sidewalk in front of your home, and standard rock salt. The front sidewalk is included. A corner lot’s extra side-street sidewalk is $105 per started 10 metres for the full season, plus HST. Select it above when needed; there is no extra charge if there is no side-street sidewalk or the City clears it.

Complete carries our Best value badge. Priority spots are limited each winter - we cap how many properties can realistically be first on the route in the first 3 hours of a storm.

Not included on any tier: side or back path clearing. Add small (to about 25 ft) for $75 a season, or large (over 25 ft or multiple paths) for $150 a season, on top of any tier.

Kitchener and Waterloo both have a 24-hour sidewalk rule

Both cities require the sidewalk in front of your home to be cleared within 24 hours of a snowfall (kitchener.ca “Snow removal”; waterloo.ca “Snow and ice removal bylaw”). That’s one reason the city sidewalk is built into every tier here, not sold as an extra - it’s already your responsibility, so we just handle it.

How the season runs

1. Tell us your driveway size, 1 car through 10 car (bigger is quoted), or use our driveway size guide.
2. Pick Standard, Complete or Priority.
3. Pay for the season once, or ask about arranged payment.
4. Every 5 cm+ snowfall triggers your visit automatically. No call needed, no app to check.
5. We clear within the window for your tier, driveway, front path, city sidewalk and salt included.

How paying works

A Winter plan is one payment for the whole season, plus HST, charged when you check out online. There is no second charge later in the winter for this plan.

You can cancel any time with 14 days’ notice. You only pay for clearings completed, and a prepaid season is refunded for the unused portion. Full details, including the extra 10-day cooling-off right Ontario gives you on a plan sign-up, are on our refund and cancellation policy.

Whole-season total, November 1 to April 15, unlimited clearings at the 5 cm trigger. All plus HST.

Why Priority costs more

Priority isn’t Standard with a sticker on it. It’s Complete’s full service, salt choice and faster clearing included, plus being first on the route so you’re usually done within 3 hours of the snow stopping. That combination is why Priority spots are limited each winter - being first only means something if the list stays short.

Your rights when you sign up for a plan

A Winter plan is a service delivered across the season, so Ontario law treats it as an “internet agreement” and likely a “future performance agreement” too. In practice:

• Before you pay, you’ll see our business name and contact details, what’s included, the full price with HST shown separately, and the cancellation terms below.
• You get a clear chance to review and correct your order and to accept or decline it before you’re charged.
• We’ll send a written copy of your plan agreement by email within 15 days of sign-up.
• Ontario gives you 10 days to cancel for any reason, no questions asked, starting from whichever is later: when you get that written copy, or when your first clearing happens. This is on top of, not instead of, our own 14-day cancellation notice.
• We never auto-renew a plan or add anything mid-season without asking you first.

Why trust the tier system

We hold a 4.9 star rating from 108 Google reviews, verified 16 September 2026. Cancel any time with 14 days’ notice - you only pay for clearings already completed, and a prepaid season is refunded for the unused portion. Your fixed season price includes unlimited qualifying clearings from November 1 to April 15, including unusually heavy winters. Every price above is before HST; HST at 13% is added and shown as its own line at checkout.

Winter plan FAQ

What counts as a snowfall that triggers a visit? 5 cm or more. Under that, we don’t come and you’re not charged. Complete and Priority also include ice control after freezing rain or a light dusting.

Do I need to call you when it snows? No. Once you’re on the route, the snowfall triggers the visit. You don’t need to be home.

Is the salt safe for my dog or my concrete? Standard rock salt comes on every tier. Complete and Priority let you choose eco/pet-safe or treated salt instead, gentler on paws, concrete and garden beds than plain rock salt, though no salt is fully harmless to water long-term.

What if a storm buries the whole street at once? During a big storm we may clear more than once. Qualifying clearings are included in your fixed seasonal price. Priority puts you first on the route; it does not promise an instant arrival.

Do I have to clear the windrow the plow leaves at the end of my driveway? No. Every tier clears the windrow at the end of your driveway as part of each visit.
