Snow Removal in Kitchener
Driveway snow removal in Kitchener at the 5 cm trigger, usually within 12 hours of the snow stopping. Per-visit pricing starts at $49.99, plus HST, and every visit includes your driveway, front path and the city sidewalk out front.
Two Kitchener-specific facts are worth knowing before winter hits. The city runs a standing overnight parking ban, 2:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., December 1 to March 31, and during a declared snow event street parking is banned entirely with a $100 ticket, so a car normally left on the street may need to move to the driveway during a storm. Kitchener also requires the property owner to clear the sidewalk in front of their home within 24 hours of a snowfall, reported to bylaw at 519-741-2345 if it isn’t done, and the city runs an Assisted Sidewalk Snow Clearing Program for eligible seniors and residents with disabilities who need help meeting that rule.

Kitchener FAQ
Does the winter parking ban affect my driveway clearing? It can. Kitchener’s overnight ban runs 2:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., December 1 to March 31, and any declared snow event bans street parking entirely with a $100 ticket, so a car usually left on the street may need to be on the driveway during a storm for us to clear it properly.
Am I still responsible for my own sidewalk if I hire you? Yes, Kitchener’s bylaw puts that on the property owner within 24 hours of a snowfall, but your KW clearing covers the city sidewalk out front on every visit, so that’s handled either way.
What about the windrow the plow leaves at the end of my driveway? We clear it. The windrow at the end of your driveway is part of every driveway visit, so you’re not left digging out after the plow goes by.
Do you cover my part of Kitchener? All of Kitchener and Waterloo, with Mannheim at the edge. No Cambridge. See the service area page.
Serving Kitchener and Waterloo
